Technical Writer ( Google experience) - 5 month contract

Our client, a multinational software company, is looking for a talented Technical Writer to join for a short contract covering a leave on the team.

This is a 100% remote role.

Duration:5 months

Start date: March 2026

End date: August  2026

Responsibilities:

• Supporting content development for features and releases

• Triaging content fix requests and bugs, interacting with PM / Eng

• Responding to legal/compliance requests to update stale content or address new content needs

• Supporting the maintenance of a Help Center

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ technical writing experience- specifically at Google for some, if not all, that time

• Proficiency in HTML and CMS

• Fluency in English (native-level) is essential

• Ability to prioritize and manage own work with minimal oversight

• Copy editing skills -attention to quality and detail

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or Information Technology

• Excellent English proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading
